“It’s Still Autumn” features the Iranian kamancheh player legend, Kayan Kalhor, and the three Dutch jazz musicians of the Rembrandt Frerichs Trio. The various compositions interwoven through improvisation are a musical journey through an imaginary autumn landscape.
The album cover design was inspired by the color and texture of the kamancheh instrument's surface details as well as autumn leaves, which is what the album's name is about. As you can see in the pictures, the cover design of this album created an eye-catching imagery design that made it easy to recognize from a distance. It featured a vibrant red-orange background with a central illustration of a kamancheh instrument.
