Raph is an architectural design group in Iran. The name has been chosen for the brand smartly since Raph means arc in Persian and arc is an architectural symbol that plays a crucial role in this field which is used in both traditional and modern design styles.
Taking inspiration from the form of an arc, we designed an abstract form for Raph logo design, and for this brand’s visual identity design and development process, we wanted to focus strategically to reflect the feeling of architectural design through minimal illustrations of building blocks all composed of arcs. Therefore, we designed a bunch of 3D forms as the main language of the Raph visual identity design.
The block elements we designed for the Raph group can be used to create outstanding and mysterious patterns in various styles such as linear, shaped, whether in a small size to create a repeating pattern or on a big scale to be used as one element.
The perfectly executed 3D illustration details we created for Raph can also be transformed into flat and 2D illustrations as you can see in the pictures.
The brand pictograms are designed based on the visual language of the brand while we aimed to play with the black and white spaces in order to create an engaging look for them.
